One Direction‘s Niall Horan arrives at #1 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart, as his solo debut Flicker earned 152,000 equivalent album units, with 128,000 in traditional sales. Horan is now the third member of One Direction to land a #1 album, after Harry Styles and Zayn. As with many of this year’s top albums, Flicker was bolstered by a concert ticket/album bundle.
Horan thanked fans on Twitter, writing, “Wow! Thank you so much. My mind is completely blown. An album that I wrote has gone to #1 in the United States and I cannot thank you guys enough for supporting it.” He added, “The fans. You are incredible! The love I get on a daily basis is amazing. Thank you and thank you again.”
At #2 is the new surprise collaborative release from Future and Young Thug. Super Slimey earned 75,000 units in its first week, primarily driven by streaming.
Last week’s #1 release Beautiful Trauma from P!nk slips to #3, followed by Stoney from Post Malone at #4. Country artist Chris Young earned his fourth Billboard 200 top ten album with Losing Sleep at #5.
Mr. Davis from Gucci Mane is at #6 with Ed Sheeran at #7. The fourth top ten debut of the week comes from Darius Rucker, whose newest solo album When Was the Last Time arrives at #8. The top ten is rounded out with Lil Uzi Vert at #9 and Demi Lovato at #10.
