Billboard reports that a Michael Jackson-themed animated Halloween special is on the way. The surprise project, titled Michael Jackson’s Halloween, will air on CBS this fall and feature the music of the late King of Pop. The network and Jackson’s estate have teamed together for the special, which Billboard says will culminate “in a spectacular dance finale featuring an animated Jackson.”

San Diego’s KAABOO Del Mar festival has announced its 2017 lineup. Set for September 15-17, the event is topped by Red Hot Chili Peppers, P!nk, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and Muse. A massive David Bowie box set will arrive in September, collecting his “Berlin trilogy” era. A New Career in a New Town includes 11 CDs and 13 LPs. The set includes Low, “Heroes” and Lodger, with a variety of EPs, a compilation of miscellaneous tracks from those records plus the 1978 live album Stage. A massive photo book wraps up the box set, which lands September 29.
