Karen Lamberton

Karen Lamberton has been promoted to EVP of Soundtracks and Film & TV Licensing for RCA Records. Lamberton previously held the role of SVP of Soundtracks, Music Licensing & Brand Partnerships. Lamberton will remain in the company’s New York headquarters.

In her elevated position, Lamberton will be tasked with modernizing policy within the field of licensing, building opportunities for exposure, increasing revenue and strengthening her soundtracks department.

Lamberton began her music career in Los Angeles at Gorfaine/ Schwartz Agency and Capitol Records. She has worked within the industry in varied fields over the years including music publishing, artist management and producer management. In 2001, upon joining J Records, she took on the Head of Licensing role, which she has maintained.
